Training, Exercises, Equipment
SEPAR functions through strong partnerships that amplify its effectiveness and reach. Our work is deeply integrated with the City of Surrey’s Emergency Program and supported by key organizations that share our commitment to public safety.
We operate in close collaboration with the Surrey Amateur Radio Communications Society (SARC), which provides vital technical support, training, and access to repeater infrastructure. SARC also recognizes SEPAR as a supported program of the City, reinforcing our shared goals of communication readiness and community service.
The Surrey Fire Service is another critical partner. They generously provide meeting space at the Fire Training Centre, storage for our equipment, and access to two elevated repeater sites. SEPAR also maintains a well-equipped radio room at Fire Hall One, central to city communications.
At the provincial level, we are part of Emergency Management and Climate Readiness (EMCR) under the Public Safety Lifeline Volunteer designation, ensuring integration with British Columbia’s emergency planning framework.
