2026 RF Electronics Course

In the summer of 2024, we ran a very successful Summer School RF Electronics course in partnership with the Surrey School District and Kwantlen Park Secondary electronics teacher Adam Drake, VE7ZAL. This year, the School Board approved a full 17‑week semester 2026 RF Electronics course, held during the first block every school day. We believe it is the first course of its kind in Canada.

Senior high school students earn four course credits and have the opportunity to complete the Canadian Basic Amateur Radio qualification. John Schouten, VE7TI, is the instructor for the Amateur Radio component, supported by several guest presenters who demonstrate various aspects of the hobby and the industry.
