SARC Field Day

Field Day, held this year on the weekend of June 27–28, was a huge success and one of SARC’s most important radio events of the year.

Operating from the Spectrum Flyers Field, off 48 Avenue approximately 1 km west of 176 Street, SARC members came together to test our ability to communicate by amateur radio under simulated emergency conditions. The event also gave us a valuable opportunity to build skills, strengthen teamwork, and increase public visibility for the club.

The success of Field Day was made possible by the many volunteers who helped with planning, pre-event testing, setup, station operation, event support, and equipment takedown. Thank you to everyone who contributed their time, equipment, and energy.
